I was going too advanced to IT Essentials II: Network Operating Systems course after completing the IT Essentials I: PC Hardware and Software. I have been advised not to study IT Essentials II, because it is not that important. Is this true? I am going to sit a Comptia A+ exam for a more recognised qualification, now I don’t know what to do, should I jump to CCNA course?

If any one could give me advise on courses that I should study as I am starting a career in I.T. I have looked at these courses:

 Computing (General) BTEC Higher National Certificate
 Computing (General) BTEC Higher National Certificate to Diploma Conversion
 Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician
 Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
 Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
 Microsoft Office Specialist
