I was going too advanced to IT Essentials II: Network Operating Systems course after completing the IT Essentials I: PC Hardware and Software. I have been advised not to study IT Essentials II, because it is not that important. Is this true? I am going to sit a Comptia A+ exam for a more recognised qualification, now I don’t know what to do, should I jump to CCNA course?

If any one could give me advise on courses that I should study as I am starting a career in I.T. I have looked at these courses:
Computing (General) BTEC Higher National Certificate
Computing (General) BTEC Higher National Certificate to Diploma Conversion
Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
Microsoft Office Specialist
