If you need this information for a computer class I suggest you begin doing your homework as many of us do for our classes and begin googling….. If you tried searching and were unsuccessful I suggest you definitely not enter the legal field where researching is absolutely crucial in the role of paralegal/legal specialist. It is much more than just typing and filling out forms. It’s hard work.

Word Perfect
MS Word
Amicus Attorney
Excel
Power Point
WANDOCS (or any other organizational software)
You need to know how to access Federal Filing Systems online
Billing software if you are responsible for an attorney’s billable hours

You should get the broadest training you can, but every lawyer/firm will have different software that they prefer. You usually can’t miss with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) but there are still LOTS of lawyers who use WordPerfect.
Aside from that there are dozens of practice management, trial preparation/presentation and filing programs that you MIGHT need to know.
Your local paralegal association may have a student membership that would be valuable for you - especially as a networking tool.
