Why Outsource?
June 19th, 2009 | by 4reign |When most people go to work what they do is perform tasks. They show up and are required to complete something in a way that has been laid out before them. They are expected to go from point A to point B. And how they get from point A to point B is almost always by following a course of action that has been predetermined. You are supposed to do things a certain way. Of course this whole concept flies in the face of creativity. It stifles ones ability to think outside of the proverbial box. You have a task to perform, and you will do it exactly the way you were told to do it or you will get in trouble!
However, when a company outsources something, they are only interested in the final product. The company doing the outsourcing does not care how the results were achieved. And this is what makes foreign outsourcing so popular. A perfect example is foreign software outsourcing. If you can get your software developed for less money in China than it would have cost here, it just makes more sense! Of course some people hate to see us send jobs overseas, but when you weigh the costs against the benefits it is hard to argue the fact that foreign outsourcing is a good thing.
